Seahorse in a Bottle

Project Description

What are you most proud of? Getting the seahorse to fit without it being too small and awkward looking. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Don't add water. If you want water in the bottle, don't use glaze. The glaze will bubble up, turn white and come off quickly. If you have a glaze that will resist water, then go for it.

What you will need

  • A little glass bottle with a cork stopper
  • polymer clay
  • eye pins
  • jewelry pliers (round and flat nose pliers)
  • wire cutters
  • the end of a paint brush (or something like it to push clay around in the bottle) and glaze (optional)
