If you liked the 2-D Cinquefoil Tatted Flower, you'll LOVE making this 3-D flower corsage! You can glue or stitch it to bobby pins, hair clips, brooch pins, even ring blanks, you name it, and it's an instant one-of-a-kind decoration! This 2-layer flower is completely tatted together, no sewing required after it's complete aside from hiding ends. I'm really proud of figuring out this anchoring technique and I think you'll be thrilled to learn it! You can take this technique and apply it to other patterns to create fun 3-D designs. The bottom layer is reminiscent of metal filigree. I find it really inspirational, I hope you do too! *Note to shuttle tatters: Please let me know any corrections or hints you'd like me to add to this pattern. I'm not a shuttle tatter, so I would really love any help - and I will certainly credit your help in any revised editions of this pattern! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Needle tatting (rings, chains, joining picots, finishing) Shuttle tatters can follow along, but may need to make adjustments such as Catherine Wheel Join SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 1-1/2" wide, about 1/2" tall
