Sunset Tree and Arbor Wrap

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Tree and Arbor Wrap Link to website or photo www.shop.fickleknitter.com/product/tree-and-arbor-wrap-instant-download-pdf What are you most proud of? That I actually finished the project, months after it was due. I learnt that I'm not a test knitter, but it was still good to finish this. I also didn't like the original color of the yarn so I dyed the finished shawl using Wilton Food Dyes and Vinegar at home, to get this vivid orange color. What advice would you give someone starting this project? It's a very easy lovely pattern but because of the thin yarn and small needles, it's going to take a while to finish. Make this one of your long term projects that you keep coming to and don't get frustrated if you don't finish immediately. The finished product will be worth it.

What you will need

  • Knit Picks Palette yarn in orange
  • US #5 bamboo needles
  • stitch markers

The pattern is available at this website: http://www.shop.fickleknitter.com/product/tree-and-arbor-wrap-instant-download-pdf. It's by Michelle Miller. I'll add it to the pattern description up there.

This is beautiful. I would like to make it but I am a very slow knitter - how long did it take you?
NiseyKnits answered:
You know, I had just had a new baby, and I was knitting a lot of other projects alongside this one, so it took me a couple of months. The pattern repeat is about 30-40 rows, so I think if you could finish a pattern repeat in 2-3 days, you would be able to finish this in a month or less, providing you don't jump onto other projects like I do. :)
