Smoky Mountain Morning Mist Scarf

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo Smoky Mountain Morning Mist Scarf Link to website or photo What are you most proud of? The two edging and central lace patterns are simple and do not require a chart! I'm not super fond of charts, although if I love a pattern enough I will use one. I like being able to follow a simple repeat that can be put down and picked up again without taking 20 minutes to figure out where I am in the pattern. I color coded the pattern to make it even simpler to follow! What advice would you give someone starting this project? If you have never used laceweight yarn, this is a great pattern to give it a try! You can also use sock yarn for a less lacy appearance and for a scarf that is a bit thicker. The pattern can easily be made wider so it can be worn as a shawl.

What you will need

  • Laceweight/fingering/sock weight yarn
