Scrappy Gnome Hats

Project Description

What was your source for this knitting project? Online Photo or Website Name of website or photo The Scrappy Gnome Hat Link to website or photo What are you most proud of? How loved these hats have been. The mother of the original recipients sent me a picture of the two of them (ages 1 and 3) wearing these wool hats with shorts and tee-shirts on a 90 degree day! Now that's love. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Have fun with it! Especially with the color choices. You can really get into playing with how one color fades into the next. And finding ways to slip in those little scraps of yarn; you know the ones that you have no idea what to do with, but you couldn't stand to get rid of. This, this is where to use them! It can be kind of addictive.

What you will need

  • Scraps of worsted and bulky yarn.
