Scarf

What are you most proud of? My grandmother knit and I tried as a child but didn't like it. At 30 I was told to knit as my husband was, shall we say "inactive"!!! At 30 I wanted an "active" life and knitting was just not going to cut it - chocolate helped but knitting - that was for old people. Well now I am 60, could care less about the .... and love knitting. I hope my Grandmother is proud of me as I am so pleased to be following in her sewing and knitting footsteps!!! What advice would you give someone starting this project? Enjoy, practice and rip it up and start again if the mistakes are too glaring. And practice really does make perfect. Watch lots of videos on YouTube as well for close ups of particular techniques
