Peeta Socks

What are you most proud of? The versatility of the design. Depending on the size you make, colors you use, or toe option you go for, this sock can be either very manly or very feminine. I've seen it knit up in the smaller size in a sport weight yarn, and the larger size in a light fingering and it still looks awesome. I invented the wheat stitch for this after alot of swatching. A lot of myself went into this design. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read the instructions carefully, don't just blindly knit from the charts! Also look at the pictures when first working out the wheat motif. Once you get that down, it knits up super fast!
