My Crazy Lace Cardigan

What advice would you give someone starting this project? This was a challenging course, but worth it because I learned a lot! A few tips: Cast on less stitches than you think you need for the neck, because it will tend to stretch. That's what happened to me anyway. Be aware that the video does not exactly follow the written pattern for number of selvedge stitches when starting the lace pattern. Next time I will use a larger size needle for the lace because it it a little tighter than the rest. I am really happy with my first ever cardigan!

Q&A with Ruthie21

wyber1146 asked:
it looks a very nice cardigan I wear that kind all the time now can it also be done in cotton
Ruthie21 answered:
Thanks! I think cotton would be okay
Wandalea asked:
This color is luscious. I will now be looking for some plum yarn.
Ruthie21 answered:
Thank you! It looks a little bit darker in person.
Bonheur asked:
Great idear : the brooch.
Ruthie21 answered:
Actually, it is a hook-and-eye closure. I got the idea from a sweater I saw on another site. A brooch would work too, though!,
