Holden Shawlette 2

What are you most proud of? I found this delightful yarn during a visit to the Treacle Market in Macclesfield (Cheshire, UK). This shawlette pattern seemed to be the best to show off the gorgeous colours. Unlike the first shawl which used a 4ply yarn, this yarn is a light double knit and is a little heavier. Despite this the pattern knitted up really fast and I am very pleased with the result. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Read the instructions through carefully before starting and then use a row counter to remember which row of the lace pattern you are on. This makes everything so much easier. The design is great fun to make and is a really quick knit for an experienced knitter.
