Candy Stripe Blankie

What are you most proud of? I adjusted the pattern for the body of the blanket. The orginial pattern called for a Modified Farrow Rib stitch which repeats one pattern row consisting of alternating three knit stitches and one purl stitch.. I thought it looked too busy so I changed it. The change I made was a simple one. My pattern consisted of two rows. Row 1 was the knit 3, purl 1. Row 2 was purl 3, knit 1. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Once you decide on the stitch you are going to use for your border and body, use markers to to distinguish when you need to switch your pattern stitches. Using stitch markers helps with ease and working progress.
