Project

Bachelorette

What are you most proud of? The construction, while a little daunting, is actually really rhythmic and the result is very dramatic. What advice would you give someone starting this project? Print out the diagram page of the pattern, and X out rows that you've completed; much easier to to remember where you were! Though after knitting a few of these, I was able to find out where I was by which pattern row I was working on, where the shadow stitches were, and which section of the round I was in. For the seed stitch version, just replace the lace pattern with 2x2 seed stitch. Really, any of your favorite lace patterns (2-, 4-, 6- or 12-row repeats) would work in lieu of the one included, you'd just need to probably adjust the numbers of stitches in the appropriate sections.
