This all season small shawl, or shawlette, is the perfect one-skein project for a beautiful fingering weight yarn. Worked in one piece from end to end, the lace edging is knitted along with the stockinette body. Size is adjustable, based on how much yarn is used. The pattern is easy to follow and quick to knit! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting, purling, basic lace increasing, decreasing blocking stitches used: k, p, M1R, k2tog, k2tog, ssk, yo GAUGE 20 sts and 24 rows = 4" [10 cm] in Stockinette stitch, after blocking. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 15 inches [38 cm] wide at middle point and 73 inches [185 cm] long, after blocking. SUGGESTED YARN 400 yards of Fingering weight
