Windmill Bay is a stole knit from end to end with a lacy section nestled between ribbed and cabled sections. I designed this as a go to stole for around the campfire or snuggling on the sofa while watching a favourite movie. It would make a great gift for a faraway friend (or a close one) when an in person hug is just not possible. The lace and cable are both easy enough for advanced beginner knitters. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions and the story of Windmill Bay is included on the last page.
