Fingerless gloves or wrist warmers are incredibly fashionable. Not to mention that they are fun and practical! They can be worn inside while working on the computer, sewing, knitting; or they can be worn outside while walking on a chilly day, watching the soccer games or driving. For this pattern, you will need to know how to cast on, knit, purl, make cables, and cast off. Although it is fairly simple, the result will be stunning. The pattern consists of 8 repeating rows and it is recommended that you keep track of each row by using a row counter. Or use the handy grid below to mark off each row completed. This pattern is worked in rounds with double pointed needles, so you will always be working the 'right side'. Following the pattern below will make gloves that fit small - medium women. To make a pair for large hands, increase 4 stitches on 1 set of double pointed needles (adding one more wave). I've been knitting all my life and currently spend most of my waking hours thinking about new ways to knit classic accessories. I love to spin my own yarn, learn new knitting techniques and get creative with felted wool.
