On needle size 3.25 - 3.75 mm / US # 3 -5. Aim for a nice soft fabric that gives sufficient coverage of the colour behind. Supplies Needed

  • A set of 5 dpns and 50 cm circular needle, in the size determined by your swatch. Be prepared to reevaluate this after starting the project. Begin with dpns and switch to ever longer circulars as the number of stitches increases sufficiently. Alternatively, use any favourite circular knitting method you wish! As the blanket becomes really large you will need three x 40 - 60" needles. You will also need one dpn two - three sizes larger than gauge for the I-cord edging
  • 400-500 grams of Colours A and B for the blanket
