This flower was designed to reflect the colourful flowers of summer! It is knit in one strip and worked with to create a beautiful flower!! This flower would complete any type of hand work! Would look awesome on a hat, headband, purse, etc... It is a quick and easy pattern that will use up those small amounts of yarn you have left over from other projects!!! I knit this flower with cotton yarn, but could be knit with any yard you desire. Knit and dream of the soon to be growing flowers of summer!! My name is Lara and I love to knit! I have been knitting for 13 years. My oldest son is almost 13! Before he was born, I picked up the needles and taught myself to knit! I started with a scarf, jumped to a jacket and hat for my newborn and then to a baptism gown! I have knit many, many sweaters, hats, mitts, socks over the last 10 years! Everytime I pick up needles, I have something else in my mind I want to try! I have an electronic systems engineering degree, but have chosen to stay home with my children at this moment. I love working with numbers, so writing up patterns is a great challenge for me! I have 6 wonderful children, so have many opportunities to knit for them! I have also learned some crocheting as I find it adds to my knit projects! I hope you enjoy these patterns as much as I do!
