Pattern Details

This fun sideways shawl has a light and airy body made up of eyelet rows and a cute zigzag pattern along its edge. It is suitable for any season but perfect for summer with its open, airy lace pattern. It is completely reversible and requires only one skein of yarn. Any sock or fingering yarn will do, but this Basic Sock from Red Sock Blue Sock Yarn is especially delightful! BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY increasing, decreasing knitting lace blocking lace stitches used: k, p, sl1, k tbl, kfb, k2tog, ssk, p2tog, p2tog tbl, yo GAUGE 19 sts and 26 rows = 4" [10 cm] in eyelet pattern, after blocking. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 15 inches [38 cm] wide at middle and 72 inches [183 cm] long, after blocking. SUGGESTED YARN 450 yards of Fingering weight
