This is the perfect little sweater jacket for baby. I was inspired to make something that was practical, soft, easy and worked up quickly and this is what I came up with. I made mine in neutrals to match many things, but of course you can customize the colors. The style is suitable for a baby boy or girl and will keep them cozy and warn without overheating. The bulky yarn makes this a very speedy project as well. The pattern will make a size 0-6 months, but can easily be adjusted by starting with a larger or smaller number of stitches. Please feel free to reach out to me if you need help adjusting the stitch count for a different size. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit Purl GAUGE 4 stitches and 6 rows = 2 square inches SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 0-6 Months Chest Mesures 21 " Around Shoulder to Waist = 8" SUGGESTED YARN 150 yards of Bulky weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Bernat Softee Chunky

I have been crafting since I was a little girl, partly because I don't like to just sit still and do nothing! I love the feeling of finishing a project, and I love the reaction when I give a special handmade gift to one of my children or a friend. There is something very special about making something that no one else has. If you have tried out any of my patterns, the first thing you probably noticed is that they are EASY! Why? While I love a good challenge as much as the next girl, I also like to knit and crochet to unwind after a long stressful day at the office. I often (always) work on my projects while watching TV or a movie or while spending time with my three children who like to talk... sometimes at a very fast pace and all at once. :) An easy pattern is a requirement for me. I hate frogging or as I call it un-knitting. I've made it a bit of a mission to create patterns that look difficult and impressive but actually aren't. I really hope that you enjoy making them as much as I did.
