PATTERN DETAILS

As I write and publish this, it's summer and summer is a terrific time to work on small, light projects ... and to think about making Christmas gifts. I present to you my "Spa Cloth and Soap Bag" ensemble. Along with instructions for making the two knitted spa cloths, the Tunisian Crochet Simple Stitch spa cloth and knitted soap bag, I've included detailed photo tutorials on: 1. How to make an I-Cord 2. How to make a cord with a Viking era Lucet 3. How to do the Tunisian Crochet Simple Stitch I've also explained how to turn a wash cloth into a gift basket! Once you've made the spa cloths and gift basket, I suggest you add some decorative soap, perhaps "sample" size shampoo, conditioner and skin cream, wrap it all up in gift basket cellophane, top it off with a gorgeous bow ... and present it as a gift to a woman you really want to spoil! I'm always available to help my buyers, so if you have any questions as you work up my designs, please contact me at the Email address listed on the patterns. Thank you! Lenas's Legacy Hand Knits
Follow my blog at: http://lenaslegacyhandknits.wordpress.com I am certified as a Level 1 Master Hand Knitter by The Knitting Guild Association. My grandmother Lena taught me to knit when I was 4 years old and told me that a lifetime of knitting pleasure was her legacy to me. I love to design and knit and enter my work in competitions. I've won numerous awards and ribbons over the years and that's a lot of fun, but the greatest pleasure is the actual creative process. I specialize in Beginner and Intermediate level designs that teach new skills and promote excitement for the art that is Knitting. I think new knitters should have the opportunity to work with a well-written design that reinforces their current skills, teaches them new skills and gets a "WOW, you made that?!!?" response when showing off their completed project.
