Pattern Details

This pattern is for a simple, elegant flower that can be added to any type of hand work! It is a good project to get rid of any extra yarn you have laying around. I used a cotton yarn for this pattern, but it can be made with any yarn you desire! This flower is knit in one piece. You do not need to do each petal separately. The pattern comes in a small and a larger flower. Feel free to make changes to obtain the size of flower you desire! Enjoy and garnish your items with a simple but beautiful flower! My name is Lara and I love to knit! I have been knitting for 13 years. My oldest son is almost 13! Before he was born, I picked up the needles and taught myself to knit! I started with a scarf, jumped to a jacket and hat for my newborn and then to a baptism gown! I have knit many, many sweaters, hats, mitts, socks over the last 10 years! Everytime I pick up needles, I have something else in my mind I want to try! I have an electronic systems engineering degree, but have chosen to stay home with my children at this moment. I love working with numbers, so writing up patterns is a great challenge for me! I have 6 wonderful children, so have many opportunities to knit for them! I have also learned some crocheting as I find it adds to my knit projects! I hope you enjoy these patterns as much as I do!
