Pattern Details

This sweater is so easy to work, and makes a nice canvas for a colorful self-striping tweed or marled yarn. The pattern includes both a women's and a men's version. Customize the length by working it to match the length of your favorite sweater. The yarn I used works up at a gauge of 5 sts per inch in Stockinette stitch; if you wish to use a different yarn, make sure you find one that will match this gauge. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knit, purl, pick up stitches, increase, decrease GAUGE 19 sts and 27 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Seeded Rib, using larger needles SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS XXXS (28") to 6X (74.5")

Recommended with this pattern

  • 800-1950 yards worsted weight yarn
  • sizes 7 (4.5 mm) and 9 (5.5 mm) needles
