PATTERN DETAILS

These cozy arm warmers are just the thing for cold weather. They can extend the life of your three-quarter sleeved tops or layer with long sleeves for extra warmth. The arm warmers have rolled edges, a little ruching at each wrist, and a cute beaded detail. The beautiful yarn I used for this pair is a blend of alpaca and bamboo fibers, so it's warm without being bulky - perfect for arm warmers! The yarn is fingering/4ply weight. These arm warmers are one size fits most. For this project you will need one skein (50 grams) of MountainTop Vail yarn (by Classic Elite Yarns) a set of 4 double-pointed knitting needles in size US 2/2.75mm. You will also need a yarn needle, scissors, and a ruler or tape measure. You can also embellish the arm warmers with a pair of buttons or beads (I used a cute set of Japanese owl beads on mine!). Gauge is 8 stitches per inch in stockinette stitch. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting on double pointed needles GAUGE 8 stitches = 1 inch in stockinette stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS one size fits most adults SUGGESTED YARN 236 yards of Fingering weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN MountainTop Vail by Classic Elite Yarns COLORWAY 6475
