Bias knit fingerless glove are knit flat in garter stitch, in panels separated and edged by double-knit seam lines, using the magic of garter stitch: two rows equals one stitch. These gloves are worked from the palm down to a dramatic point at the elbow, and showcase wonderful hand-paint yarns. Buttons from the wrist to the elbow increase the drama, perfect when you want to star in your own rock opera. Tech-editor, Kristen TenDyke says: Throughout the pattern Rebecca uses some really ingenious ways of shapingthings I've never seen beforethat work perfectly for what she wants to achieve. Living in Maine, knitting seems like the best art form of all. The cold winters, cool summer nights, the wealth of fiber farms, and the beautiful landscape inspire me to the needles, to soft fibers, and to bright color to warm the heart.
