Reminiscence is a crescent-shaped shawl worked from the bottom up. I really enjoyed working on this shawl as the repeats are easy to memorize yet not boring. The lace pattern is on both RS and WS rows so there are no rest rows or purl rows. There are a few stitches that are new to me and are very interesting to knit. Pattern includes charts and written directions, and stitch count totals for every row. I also include the number of stitches to cast on and the yardage for a different number of repeats. Technical Editor: Chaitanya Muralidhara Suggested yarn: Any sock yarn. I used Wollmeise 100% Merino Superwash (Zarte Knospe color) 1 skein (150g, 574 yards) for 29 repeats (I only had enough yarn left to weave in and nothing more, so I suggest to do 28 repeats if you use same yarn) Finished size: 163 cm (64.25") wingspan, 49 cm (19.25") depth Level: Advanced

I live on a tropical island called Penang which is one of the states in a country called Malaysia, but it does not stop me from learning how to knit. I knew how to crochet since I was 6 and taught myself to knit about 5 years ago and after a couple of projects, I began designing my own patterns. I just love the process of designing, from the imagining of the design to the drawing and even the math part of it. I love to wear something pretty and feminine and it is reflected in all of my designs. I have 2 small daughters that need a lot of attention besides my full time job, so I am happy enough if I can publish 3 patterns a year.
