Cozy lacy fingerless gloves, pretty and practical. Ideal gift, why not make a pair for you and another for a friend. Knitted in the round with five needles. A painless four row lacy pattern with a stocking stitch feature running up to the thumb. The pattern forms an undulating curve to the base of the glove and it is all topped off with a picot edging. These gloves are quick to knit using around three quarters of a 50g ball of double knit wool, an ideal stash buster project. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting in the round Basic lace knitting skills GAUGE 22 sts/28 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch 22 sts/28 rows = 4" in pattern stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 7 inches long but this can be increased if necessary. SUGGESTED YARN 170 yards of DK weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Sirdar Country Style Wool blend double knit, 40% Nylon, 30% Wool,. 30% Acrylic. 170yds 50g ball. COLORWAY Color 0527 Rosehip.
