Pegwhistle Kids' Sock Pattern by Katya Frankel. Worked from the cuff down, this sock's rib pattern transitions into stockinette through the leg portion of the sock. Work these in an Aran-weight yarn for a quick, satisfying sock that even your kid cannot outgrow before they're ready for wear. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit, purl, working in the round, simple increases and decreases. GAUGE 18 sts and 27 rnds = 4 in / 10cm in St st and 31 rib pattern slightly stretched. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Finished foot circumference 51/4 (61/4, 7, 8) in / 13.5 (16, 18, 20.5) cm. Shown in size 7 in.
