PATTERN DETAILS

I wanted to design an ugly bear, but didn't quite manage it and this soft, cuddly bear was created. These bears really do seem to create themselves with little input from me. He's a fat bear, who looks like he needs a good hug and wants to give you a good hug back. He has big feet and big paws, looks like he needs to grow into them. He sits at 10 inches/26 cms. Also available as a free download are detailed photographed making up instructions and it own cricket sweater. Don't forget to pick up your free downloads before you exit the site. Please note this listing is for an instant downloadable knitting pattern, not a physical item. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY Knit, purl, increase and decrease. Cast on/off SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS In sitting position 10 inches

Huggable Bears
I learnt the art of knitting when I was about 5 years old. Even at that age I was never happy to follow a pattern, always wanting to try something different. After a shoulder injury I found I couldn't knit anything heavy and out of sheer boredom I found myself knitting a bear. I didn't like the finished bear and thought I could do better myself so after a lot of frustrating frogging Huggable Bear was born. I love creating these bears and other animals, or should I say watching them create themselves, no two are ever alike. You may sell, raffle or donate any finished items created from any designs on this page. Due to the digital nature of downloads, unfortunately no refunds will be given.
