It's time for a pair of fabulous fingerless gloves, don't you think? These mitts are meant to be worked with a soft and luxurious yarn, cashmere anyone? Mica Mitts are worked in a twisted rib stitch with a beaded feather and fan center panel and a decorative thumb gusset. Video tutorials are included for working with beads as well! I live in upstate New York, where the sunny season is short, leaving plenty of time to be indoors knitting. Despite holding a degree in apparel design from Cornell University, I took to knitting years ago and I haven't looked back. Currently, I'm enamored with lace and incorporating beads into knitted jewelry, so most of my designs lean in this direction. I travel often to teach these techniques and more at workshops around the country and online with Craftsy. When I'm not designing or knitting, I'm gardening, whipping up yummy feasts with my family and taking time to play! Recently, I've developed a healthy addiction to yoga and I'm determined to master a tripod headstand and handstand!
