This is a semi circular shawl with a variation of Lily of the Valley stitch, representing the traditional flower of May. It is knit top down and you may place beads (700, size 6/0 or 8/0) or nupps in the designated spots. It also has a leafy quality, knit in green for Spring or amber for the coming of Winter (be you in our Southern Hemisphere). BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY a familiarity with lace knitting is helpful GAUGE 9 stitches and 14.5 rows = 2 inches in stockinette blocked SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 30" x 70" SUGGESTED YARN 800 yards of Lace weight PREFERRED BRAND/YARN Anzula Meridian COLORWAY Emerald
