Lighter Than Air scarf uses about 250 yds of Reverie Worsted in a rib pattern with faggoting lace between the ribs. This results in a very light, squishy scarf that feels weightless against your neck, but provides wonderful warmth on chilly days. The infinity scarf can be looped once for a drapey cowl, twice for a real neck-warmer; or you can choose to knit a little longer and leave the ends loose for a sling-over-your-shoulders flat scarf. No blocking necessary for this beautiful yarn. Lighter Than Air is a great choice for a first lace project for the adventurous beginner. This has also been made-up in fingering (sock) yarn and was a great success. Just cast on 10 more st. and you're good to go! Now that I'm working part-time, I have been able to get back to spending more time knitting for all my kids and grandkids. Whenever I get an idea for a project, and can't find the perfect pattern - I just design my own! I love sharing the finished patterns, and hope others might find that my designs are: "Just what they had in mind!"
