These are way fun to create and wear. Perfect for a lighter glove to wear indoors or out. Make them up in all white or black for bridal or cocktail needs too. The lace pattern in these is very dainty but durable. What's even better is the pattern is not difficult. Made in cotton and they are perfect for a covering without making your hands sweat. Wear them one way and then flip them around and don them the opposite way. These can use up some odds and ends yarn which is always a plus+! Also, they knit up fast!!! Make em in an evening or two and wear them!! The main yarn took me about 62 yards/56 meters which is less than a full ball. The other yarns are leftovers I used up. If you elect to make em solid one ball ought to do it. There are three sizes offered. The ones pictured are the smallest size which is a teen/adult small. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY This is an intermediate+ level of knitting. I assume the creator knows how to knit and purl, cast on, bind off, pick up stitches and understands what a slip stitch is. I've been pricking and stabbing myself with all sorts of pins for decades now. Doesn't matter what type they are - knitting, crochet, embroidery, beading, felting, dying, painting, coll-aging, sewing, gluing, burning...oh, heck - I just love a challenge! My Mother taught me to knit when I was very young and I have been hooked since! I love unusual needle-arts and seek them out with the idea to incorporate them into my own. Over the decades I've taught, run a retail store, owned a retail store, manufactured for boutiques, held gallery shows, exhibited in shows and thoroughly enjoyed getting inspired and meeting new people. Currently, I sell my designs online {( (} and at Craft shows. Look around for my patterns too as I've begun to make them available.
