Pattern Details

Skill level: Intermediate The intricate pattern may look difficult, but it's actually quite easy. Use up your stash with this four color beanie. Small amounts of each color mean you can make a couple beanies from just one skein of each color. Child: 17.5" circumference unstretched Adult: 20" circumference unstretched The beanie includes full written instructions as well as a color chart for the Fair Isle portion. The beanie pattern is in .pdf format so you will need Adobe Reader to open the document and print it. Recommended Yarn approx. 85 yards of main color and 40 to 30 yards of each contrasting color in worsted weight yarn Recommended Needles 4mm and 4.5mm 16" circulars or DPNS Just a quick reminder, this is my original design (and tutorials) and they are not to be copied and reproduced for monetary purposes, I'd love if you made as many as you liked for yourself or to give as gifts, or even sell for profit (see store policies for more on this), but please do not make copies of the pattern or tutorials. Thanks!

From the time I learned from my great-grandmother until now — over 25 years. Actual time crocheting (my 20s were a blur of school, work and debt, having a stash was not an option)– probably about 15. How’d you start designing? I got pregnant. I picked up the hook to make some stuff. I realized I liked designing rather than following a pattern, now I’ve been doing it over 6 years. Favorite yarn? Self striping in beautiful vibrant colors Where ya from? I spent the better part of my life in Southern California, and while I miss Disneyland and the predictable weather, I find that moving around from place to place a more interesting adventure. Currently I’m living with my family in the Bay Area but that will probably soon change as my husband’s military orders do. Update: I’m not back in Southern California for at least the next year. We’ll see where the Navy takes us next.
