PATTERN DETAILS

My knit night friends are very special to me. We meet each week, share a bit about our lives, admire each others' knitting and laugh...a lot. We certainly are a close knit group, pun totally intended. The Knit Night Shawl is a lot like these people. We are knotted together much like the knotted stitch in the body of the shawl. The Lace Edge Pattern travels along the border of the shawl, intertwining with the Open Lace Work Pattern, in the same way that our lives have become intertwined. So here's to you my knit night friends. Thanks for being such a great part of my life. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY basic knitting skill, i.e. knit, purl, yarn over, knit 2 together, etc. GAUGE 7 stitches/inch over stockinette stitch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS wingspan - 44 inches length - 22 inches
