I designed this pattern really as a personal test to myself. It was a huge undertaking that I wasn't even sure if I could finish, but I really wanted the option to make my own knit bib overalls like others I had seen, and I wanted to explore all the different style options. I really wanted to be able to share my experience in hopes of making it easy for others to knit their own bib overalls. I hope you enjoy and learn many new skills. These bib overalls are meant to fit around a cloth diaper and a cover so the t-shirt does not get wet when the diaper is soiled. If you do not wish to make them as cloth diaper covers, do not work the increases, but continue working the rows as if you were increasing to reach the required length. This pattern features: *Garter stitch details *Seed stitch details, including a seed stitch waistband *Suggestions about where to switch to trim colors *2 Ruffle Options *A measurement chart *Instructions for longies, shorties and capris *Instructions to make an encased ribbon band above the hem *Very detailed instructions on short rows with step-by-step photos. The fourth picture down was knit by Katie of Katidids Knits and More on Etsy. The rest of the items shown were knit by me during the testing of this pattern.
