This beautiful shawl is worked in a very simple lace pattern worked in two colors which creates a harmonious look. To hide the color change at the edges, an applied I-cord has been added. A Shark Tooth edging in both colors creates a whimsical look. This pattern is part of a collection of six designs. 50% of the proceeds, after expenses, will be donated to Brain Cancer research at UCSF (University of California, San Francisco) in memory of my sister who lost her battle with the disease in July 2012. My name is Nazanin (Nazee) S. Fard. I have been designing for publication since 1992. I love to knit and crochet and most of my work is in these two mediums. Since 2007 I have started offering my designs independently. I studied computer science in college and that has helped me in writing instructions. I always try my best to offer accurate patterns. Most of my designs have charts included with written instructions.
