Pattern Details

The upper body and sleeves are knit from the center out to the sleeve cuff, with some short rows worked to shape the armholes and sleeve caps. The lace body is picked up from the lower edge of the bodice and worked in the round to the lower edge. This is a really fun-to-knit, seamless sweater that will add a comfortable touch of style to any wardrobe. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY provisional cast on backwards loop cast on increases: m1 and m1p decreases: k2tog, ssk, s2kp short rows picking up stitches GAUGE 16 sts and 24 rows = 4" (10 cm) in Stockinette Stitch with largest needles; 1 patt rep (13 sts) = 31/2" (9 cm) with medium needles.
