Cowls are fabulous neck warmers, and won't get in your way like a scarf can. "High Noon Cowl" makes use of gently undulating stitches to create a lovely and lacy cowl. The generous circumference allows for wearing & styling numerous ways, and tucks neatly into your coat neckline. Knit in the round, the stitch pattern is easily memorized, so you can knit "High Noon Cowl" almost anywhere. It's a project that will still be successful if your gauge isn't spot on, and makes perfect use of that single skein of luxury yarn. Cowls always make great gifts for holidays or other occasions. This pattern is both written and charted. I've rated it intermediate because it is knit in the round and uses yarn overs & ktog decreases in the design. You'll be surprised at how easy it actually is! Desert Rose Fiber Arts
I've been a 'crafter' all my life, and especially enjoy fiber arts. My first professional design was published in 2005, and since then I've had my designs published in knit.wear, Knitscene, Creative Knitting, Love of Knitting, Knitcircus, Twist Collective, Three Irish Girls Yarns, Universal Yarns, and Cascade Yarns, along with several books by DRG Publications. When not knitting, thinking about knitting or dreaming up new designs, I love spending time with my husband and pets, in the high plains of Colorado where we live.
