Pattern Details

A cosy house sock that is warm and toasty and a bit luxurious! Bulky yarn makes these a quick knit and are easily adaptable to any length of foot. They make great gifts and are an indulgent treat for your own feet. The thick, squishy ribbing stretches to accommodate a wide range of ankles and calves. Instructions are given to knit socks in narrow, average and wide widths. The pattern is written for 9 inch/23 centimetre circular needles but is easily adapted for DPNs, magic loop or 2 ciruclar needles. Happy Feet uses cuff-down construction with a heel flap and Kitchener-stitched toe; though alternate toe finishes are provided for knitters who prefer to avoid Kitchener Stitch. GAUGE 4 stithches and 6 rows per inch/ 2.5 centimetres in stockinette stitch measured after blocking 4 stitches and 6 rows per inch/ 2.5 centimetres in 2x2 ribbing measured unstretched after blocking SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Instructions are provided to knit socks in narrow, average and wide widths.
