This pattern is super easy and fast to knit. This pattern comes in three sizes to fit babies (6 to 12 months), toddlers (1-3 years) and children (3-10 years) To fit heads approx: baby(40-48cm or16-19"), toddler( 45-50cm or 18-20") and child (48-52cm or 19-20.5") The pattern is worked flat with bulky yarn so it is a perfect beginners pattern. You will need circular knitting needles in 7mm or US10.5 as well as 100 (150) g of bulky yarn. I am a highly creative person and there are a lot of artists, designers as well as dressmakers in my family and my great grandfather who was as a sewing machine engineer... Nothing quite compares with making something for your little one yourself. I encourage everyone with the urge to have a go. It's fun and a lot easier than you think! One of my daughters knitted a very simple blanket for her baby brother when she was 10 years old. It is by no means perfect but it has become a very special prized possession that both her and her brother will cherish for years to come. Empower yourself and have a go!
