PATTERN DETAILS

This shawl is designed to be made from only one skein fingering weight sock yarn. Stockinette stitch body ends up through interesting chained stitch section to airy lace border. Silky yarn makes it lovely accessory for spring outfits. The exact gauge is not important in this pattern. However, if you have different gauge, this will affect the yardage. NOTE! This shawl was made with exactly 435/400 m of yarn. If you have different gauge, be sure that the yarn does not run off. The yarn used in the sample is available at www.lanitiumexmachina.etsy.com BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY pick up and knit ssk (slip, slip, knit) k2tog (knit 2 sts together) yo, yarn over GAUGE 17 sts = 4 10 cm in Stockinette st.
