These are the socks for your inner gypsy. They are bright, cheerful, warm and comfortable for cool nights around the campfire. They combine a simple lace pattern with an uncomplicated Fair Isle design. The frill can be omitted if you prefer but they are more fun with it. Have a look at the matching Frivolitee Beret for the complete set. The yarn used here, Renaissance Dyeing's Troubadour is a naturally dyed organic yarn that really glows. I live on a smallholding by the sea in the south of New Zealand where I have my own sheep for wool and various other animals. I love designing and knitting - mostly Fair Isle - and playing music.
