Pattern Details

This stylish and fashionable accessory is a versatile must-have piece for fall & winter. Worn as a cowl, capelet, or snood, the honeycomb stitch provides warmth and insulation while the ribbed edges give it classic sweater-like elegance. This versatile piece will be your go-to accessory every fall and winter! Pattern is worked in the round in one piece. The finished circumference, as the pattern is written, is approximately 35 in (89 cm), stretching to 42 in (107 cm). Instructions are included to make a wider capelet to fit a larger circumference around the bust and shoulders if desired. Aran or heavy worsted weight yarn is recommended. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting in the round cabling with a cable needle stitches used: k, p, C4F, C4B GAUGE 19 sts and 25 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in honeycomb stitch pattern worked in the rnd after blocking. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 17 inches (43 cm) wide and 15 inches (38 cm) tall laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 35 inches (89 cm).
