If you have been eager to start knitting socks but the idea of working heels, heel flaps, gussets and "the terrible Kitchener stitch" discourages you from trying, perhaps you'd like to try my EZ Ladies Zig Zag Tube Socks. You won't have to worry about any of the above mentioned techniques! If you are a veteran sock knitter but you're looking for a quick and easy attractive sock pattern, you may wish to try my pattern too. Or maybe you're making a sock as a gift but you're not sure what size the recipient wears? These socks will fit older girls, teens and ladies, no matter what size shoe they wear. The only thing you need to know is how to knit in the round. If you can do that, I'll handle working you through the sock. It's really surprisingly easy! As with all my designs, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions as you're working through the pattern; just Email me at the address listed in the pattern. I want you to have fun making your socks and end up with a result you are proud of. Thank you! Follow my blog at: I am certified as a Level 1 Master Hand Knitter by The Knitting Guild Association. My grandmother Lena taught me to knit when I was 4 years old and told me that a lifetime of knitting pleasure was her legacy to me. I love to design and knit and enter my work in competitions. I've won numerous awards and ribbons over the years and that's a lot of fun, but the greatest pleasure is the actual creative process. I specialize in Beginner and Intermediate level designs that teach new skills and promote excitement for the art that is Knitting. I think new knitters should have the opportunity to work with a well-written design that reinforces their current skills, teaches them new skills and gets a "WOW, you made that?!!?" response when showing off their completed project.
