Embroidered Daisy is a cute cardigan that can be adapted for any season simply by changing the yarn type, colors used to knit and the designs embroidered around the lower edge. This one features a ruffle at the hem, an embroidered panel around the lower edge and a sweet peter pan collar. It is knit seamlessly from the bottom up, with raglan sleeves. The Spring Daisy pattern has been updated to be worked in one piece from the bottom up with raglan sleeves. I have added more sizes and collar options. I am a self taught designer, having spent many hours researching and reading about the skills needed to learn clothing design. Having had much experience sewing, gave me a lot of knowledge about how clothing is constructed, which is an essential skill in being able to design. Experience knitting, gave me the tools I needed to master knitting techniques and be able to shape the fabric in the way I want. Learning is an ongoing pastime, there are always new techniques to master. I design clothing for children up to about 10 years and also adults. I have been published in Universal Yarns, Willow Yarns, One Skein Wonders for Babies, as well as various online magazines and self published designs.
