Beginner easy, and reversible! This is a fun project for the children that are learning to knit! They can get creative and use up lots of bright colored yarns! Knitting is easy, and they can watch the colors grow while working on it! Uses scraps of worsted weight yarn, and knitting needles, US # 10.5. Use # 9 needles for tie, or use a ribbon for tie. One size fits from children to adults. GAUGE 4 sts and 7 rows = 1 inch SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Hat is written for children up to 6 -7 yrs. For older children and adults work as below, only making hat to a 15-inch length before binding off. SUGGESTED YARN 145 yards of Worsted weight COLORWAY Knitter's Choice
