This simple lace blanket is knit in one piece, back and forth on a circular needle to accommodate the large number of stitches. Not truly reversible, but both sides are attractive. The finished size is approx. 28" x 36" (70cm x 90cm). A cotton, cotton blend, wool blend or acrylic yarn would make for a beautiful soft and washable blanket perfect for crib, stroller or pram. This is a great pattern for the new knitter who wants to experiment with making holes! Originally from the UK, and after almost 13 years in Texas, I now live in beautiful Colorado with my husband and sons. Easily outnumbered by boys in my house, I am queen of my little realm, hence the title Ladyship! Ever since my Mum taught me to knit and sew I have loved the creative process and experimenting with design. I find pillow covers to be the perfect way to combine my love of design and the textures that can be created with a single strand of yarn. I especially love experimenting with cable patterns.
