PATTERN DETAILS

This little jacket is the perfect finishing touch to the Rainbow Sundress, making it a wonderful set for special occasions. Waist length, with a square neck in front to match the dress, and 3/4 3/4 length sleeves. Worked from the bottom up in one piece, for a seamless design and minimal finishing. This versatile jacket, with the matching jumper, would also be wonderful in cooler months, if made in wool. There is a matching sundress to go with this pattern - Rainbow Sundress. I have also made both patterns into an eBook at a discounted price - Rainbow eBook. Check my other patterns for details. I am a self taught designer, having spent many hours researching and reading about the skills needed to learn clothing design. Having had much experience sewing, gave me a lot of knowledge about how clothing is constructed, which is an essential skill in being able to design. Experience knitting, gave me the tools I needed to master knitting techniques and be able to shape the fabric in the way I want. Learning is an ongoing pastime, there are always new techniques to master. I design clothing for children up to about 10 years and also adults. I have been published in Universal Yarns, Willow Yarns, One Skein Wonders for Babies, as well as various online magazines and self published designs.
