Pattern Details

The feeling of cashmere and wool around the neck is a feeling of pure contentment. This garter and lace cowl combines easy knitting with a gorgeous yarn for a simple yet luxurious project. Worked in the round, the lace pattern builds gradually and keeps the knitting interesting and quick. Pattern instructions are written. BASIC SKILLS NECESSARY knitting and purling in the round basic lace knitting binding off loosely stitches used: k, p, k2tog, yo, SKP GAUGE 17 sts and 31 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in garter stitch worked in the round after blocking. SIZING / FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Approximately 15 inches (38 cm) long and 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide laid flat, after blocking. Total circumference is approximately 30 inches (76 cm). SUGGESTED YARN 230 yards of Worsted weight
