My name is Angela, and I have been crafting since I was a little girl. I learned how to sew, knit, embroider, draw, paint, woodwork, and more. I would create with anything I could get my hands on. Often, raw materials or objects would become the start of project ideas for me. I remember moss from a camping trip becoming a barbie wig, and reeds from the field being woven into a place mat. As my skills grew, I began to design my own projects and patterns to stitch and sew. I entered some of my designs into the county fair and some others into a high school contest and won several ribbons each time. As an adult, my husband suggested that we start a craft site on the internet back in 1998 and AOK Corral was born. I began creating a project / pattern for the website each month. Today we have over 150 projects / patterns available on our website for free and for sale. I still enjoy learning new skills and exploring and designing each new project idea that comes to mind.
