Cavalry Poncho - The front and back are knit separately with a few short rows at the shoulder to create a gentle slope. Shoulders are joined with a 3-needle bind off for a smooth finish. Neckline is picked up and knit after the shoulders are joined. Finally, you pick up and knit the edge stitches along the sides of the poncho. The finishing touches are the buttons, 8 decorative ones for the front, and 4 more basic are needed for the sides. There are 2 sizes, S/M, and L/XL. Yarn used should be soft and drapey. I like Knit Picks Shine & Berroco Remix for example.
